Terms · version 2026-10-07
Terms and conditions
These terms cover everything on this site: reading it, using the directory, holding an operator account and paying for a sponsored listing. This version took effect on 2026-10-07.
Who you are dealing with
This site is published by BizRnR, a software company in San Diego, California. In these terms "we" means BizRnR. We are not a cannabis licensee. We do not sell, deliver or broker cannabis, and nothing on this site is an offer to sell it.
By using the site you agree to these terms. If you hold an operator account or buy a listing, you also agree to the parts written for operators. If you do not agree, do not use the site. The site is for marketing and general information. Anyone of any age may view it.
The information on this site
- It is general information about published rules. It is not legal advice and it is not medical advice. Rules change, enforcement varies, and your situation may turn on facts we cannot know. Do not rely on it as advice about your own case.
- Each page shows the date it was last changed, and our sources are listed on the about page. When we are told of an error we correct it.
- The question assistant is available without age confirmation. Its answers are general information like the rest of the site.
The directory
- Where listings come from. Every listing is built from the State of California's public license record and shows the license number and its status on the date given. A basic listing is free. It is not an advertisement, and it cannot be bought or removed by payment.
- Store details. Hours, phone numbers, websites and delivery areas come from each store's own website on the date shown. They can be out of date. Confirm with the store before you travel.
- No endorsement. A listing is not a recommendation. What a store sells, charges or does is the store's responsibility, and anything you buy is between you and the store.
- Sponsored listings. Some listings are paid for. Each one says "Sponsored" and shows the store's state license number. Payment changes the order stores appear in. It never removes another licensed store, and it never changes an answer, a count or a study result.
Using the site and its data
- You may read the site, link to it and quote it with credit.
- The license dataset on the research page may be reused with the credit shown there.
- A store may put its own license badge on its own website, unaltered.
- You may not present our pages as your own, copy the site wholesale, load it in a way that degrades it for others, or try to reach an account that is not yours.
Operator accounts
- Who they are for. Accounts are for businesses that hold a California cannabis retail license in San Diego County, and for the people those businesses authorize. We create each account ourselves and may decline to.
- Signing in. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address. Keep that mailbox secure. You are responsible for what is done through your account, so tell us at once if someone else may have access.
- What you tell us. You confirm that what you enter is true, and that you are authorized to act for the business and for every license you claim.
- Claiming a license. A person at San Diego Marijuana checks each claim against the state record and may ask for proof. A license has one verified holder at a time. We may refuse a claim, and we may withdraw one that was wrong or whose license has changed hands or is no longer active.
- Closing an account. You may ask us to close yours at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Sponsored listings
| Listing | Price | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | Free | Every state-licensed store, from the public license record. Always included. |
| Premiere | $249 a month | A labeled position ahead of standard listings wherever your store appears, plus a monthly report of views, calls and direction requests. |
| Own The City | $999 a month | The single top labeled position for one area, on that area's page and in search for it. One licensee per area. Includes Premiere. |
- Who can buy. An owner of a business whose claim to the license has been verified, for a license that is active in the state record.
- What you get. The position described above, labeled, and a monthly report of what we measured. We do not promise customers, calls, sales, a ranking in any search engine or a mention by any AI service.
- Own The City. Each of the 60 areas has one holder at a time. The first licensee to complete payment for an area holds it, and keeps it for as long as the subscription stays paid. When a subscription ends, the area is open to others.
- Always labeled. Every sponsored listing says "Sponsored" and shows your state license number. Neither can be removed.
- Order, not inclusion. Payment moves your listing up. It does not remove a competitor, and it buys no change to what we publish: answers, counts, the phone study or anyone else's listing.
- When it starts. A person publishes each new placement after checking it, normally within two business days of payment. If yours is not live within five business days, you may cancel and we refund that payment in full.
- Your license. A placement is shown only while the license is active in the state record. If the license stops being active, the placement comes down until it is active again. Cancel if you do not want to keep paying in the meantime.
- Your responsibilities. You are responsible for making sure that advertising here is allowed for your business under the laws and license conditions that apply to you, including California's rules for cannabis advertising and any limit on where you may deliver. Details you give us for your listing must be true and yours to give. No health claims, nothing aimed at anyone under 21, and nothing you may not lawfully sell.
- Who sees it. The monthly report shows what we measured. We do not verify the age of readers, and we make no promise about who sees a placement.
- Our right to refuse. We may refuse or remove a placement that is misleading, unlawful, or harmful to readers or to the site. If we remove one for a reason that is not your breach of these terms, we refund the unused part of the month.
Payment, renewal and cancellation
- Flat monthly fees. The price is the amount shown above for each month. We never take a share of your sales or your profits.
- How you pay. Payment is taken by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
- Renewal. You pay for each month in advance. The subscription renews every month, at the price then in force, until you cancel.
- Cancelling. Cancel at any time under "Manage billing" in your account. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for, and the placement runs until then.
- Refunds. A month that has started is not refunded, except in the two cases named under "Sponsored listings" above, or where the law requires it.
- If a payment fails. Stripe tries the payment again. The placement stays up while it does, and ends if the payment cannot be taken. An Own The City area is then open to others.
- Price changes. We email you at least 30 days before a price changes. The new price applies from your first renewal after that. Cancel before then if you do not accept it.
- Tax. Prices do not include tax. If a tax applies, it is shown before you pay.
- Disputes. If a charge looks wrong, contact us first. A dispute opened with your bank may pause the placement while it is decided.
Privacy
- Readers. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It records pages viewed, approximate location, device type and the site that referred you. Advertising personalization is switched off, and we do not ask for your name or email to read the site. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics does not load at all.
- Operators. An account holds your email address, your business name, the license numbers you claim and the listings you buy. Signing in keeps a session in your browser until you sign out, and the sign-in service records when and from which network address you signed in. The account pages load no analytics.
- Payments. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us. Stripe also receives your business name and email address. We keep a record of each subscription and its payments for our accounts.
- The state record. From the public license record we publish the business name, address, license number and status. We do not publish the owner names, email addresses or phone numbers that record also contains.
- Who handles it for us. Vercel hosts the site, Supabase runs accounts and the database, Stripe takes payments, Google provides analytics, and a mail service delivers sign-in codes. Each receives only what its job needs.
- What we do not do. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to advertise to you.
- Your information. Ask us to show, correct or delete what we hold about you. We keep account information while the account is open.
What we are responsible for
- The site and its listings are provided as they are. We work to keep them accurate and available. We do not promise that they are free of errors or always online.
- As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business or other indirect losses. Our total liability to you for anything connected with the site or a listing is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim arose, or $100 if you paid nothing.
- If someone brings a claim against us because of your business, the details you gave for your listing, or your breach of these terms, you will cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.
- Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes, and the law that applies
- Versions. Each version of these terms carries its date. A purchase is made under the version shown when you buy, and we record which one that was.
- Changes. When the terms change, the new version is published here with its date. If a change affects what an account holder pays or receives, we email at least 30 days before it applies, and it applies to a subscription from its first renewal after that notice.
- Law and courts. California law governs these terms. Any dispute is heard in the state or federal courts in San Diego County, California.
- The whole agreement. These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the site and its listings. If part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
